I have been teaching at Cheatham County Central High School since 1995.  Prior to that I worked at Vanderbilt University as a research assistant in Pediatric Immunology for five years.  Our prime focus was on the amphibian immune system and how it relates to the human immune system.  I graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin.  I attended Springfield High School and Coopertown Elementary School.

I live on a family farm in Pleasant View where tobacco, corn, soybeans, cattle and hay are proudly produced with my wife and triplets.
