Austin Monchilov- Automotive Maintenance
I grew up outside of Flint Michigan surrounded by family of GM and other automotive industry workers, I purchased my first car, a 1975 Corvette at the age of 12, which started my obsession of anything and everything with a motor. At 17 I left for the Marine Corps where I served as a Communications Maintenance Chief for the 2nd Battalion 10th Marine Regiment in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. After getting out of the Marines I moved to Tennessee where I worked at a Heavy equipment operator, Mechanic, and site surveyor while restoring vintage Harleys and cars in my free time. After a couple years I decided I wanted to turn my hobby into a full time job so I attended Tennessee College of Applied Technology- Nashville were I completed Machine Tool Technology and Collision Repair Technology where I fine tuned my skills.
In my free time I volunteer with a local non-profit Hero Hunt Inc., where we take groups of injured in the line of duty first responders and military veterans out on hunting and fishing trips around the country.
