About Me
Spencer Cooke is a 19 year veteran teacher of the Cheatham County School District. In addition to teaching here at CCCHS, Mr. Cooke has also taught at Sycamore High and Cheatham Middle in the past. He is the 2023-2024 Cheatham County School District's High School Teacher of the Year. Mr. Cooke teaches senior level U.S. Government, Online Learning, and Personal Finance. He is the Civics Bee sponsor and assists with the Renaissance Club which helps to foster positive school culture within our building and community. During the summer months, Mr. Cooke seeks out professional development opportunities throughout the United States. He has been invited to attend several of these prestigious institutes including: White House History Teacher Institute, Street Law, American Bar Association, American Board of Trial Advocates, Sphere (Washington, D.C.); National Constitution Center (Philadelphia, PA); and the USS Midway: Cold War, Korean War, and Vietnam (San Diego, CA).
