About Me

Spencer Cooke grew up in Brownsville, Kentucky and is a graduate of Western Kentucky University earning a Bachelor's degree with majors in History and Social Studies. Mr. Cooke later received his Master's degree plus 30 hours designation from Tennessee State University. Spencer moved to Nashville, Tennessee in 2006 and has taught various levels of students from sixth to twelfth grades. Mr. Cooke tutors students on Tuesdays and Thursdays and also works with Cheatham Achievers, the after school program at CMS.
 
In his spare time, Mr. Cooke sings with Nashville In Harmony and serves as the Development Director. He enjoys playing sand volleyball and kickball as well as reading various books. Some of his favorites include the Lord of the Rings trilogy, All the Light We Cannot See, Red Rising, Ready Player One, Kent Follett's Kingsbridge Series including The Pillars of the Earth, and nonfiction titles such as The Johnstown Flood, and The Spy and the Traitor
